A very informative training session was conducted on "back to the basics of fire investigation".  A number of practical demonstrations were set Brian Neal & Sharon Merritt as well as a number of very interesting speakers. These included Sharon Merritt (Fire behaviour), Ken Legatt (New Zealand), Russell Lee & Rod East (Electrical basics), Andrew Kerr (interview techniques), Alex Conway (reconstruction), Ian Hunter (major investigations) and Trevor Pillinger (fire indicators). The committee would like to thank all those who attended and have passed on the positive feedback received to the speakers.
